PRINCESS Anne has left hospital after suffering a head injury in an incident with a "horse's head or legs".
Anne, 73, had suffered "minor injuries and concussion" at her Gatcombe Park estate home in Gloucestershire on Sunday.
It is understood Anne was walking around the grounds with horses in the vicinity.
The 73-year-old was admitted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol, Buckingham Palace said, but has now left after five days of treatment.
Anne is understood to be remaining at home for further rest and recuperation over the coming days.
She will not return to royal duties until cleared to do so by medical staff.

Her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence today said: "I would like to extend my warmest thanks to all the team at Southmead Hospital for their care, expertise and kindness during my wife’s short stay."
Anne was conscious on Monday, but is said to have suffered memory loss after sustaining the injury a day earlier.
An Air Ambulance was deployed to the scene, but was not required after treatment at the scene.
During her time in hospital, the princess was forced to cancel her upcoming engagements - including a trip to Canada for a planned tour and an appearance at the State Banquet.
In a statement released earlier this week, Buckingham Palace said: "Her Royal Highness is receiving appropriate expert care. No further details are being shared at this stage.
"Her Royal Highness will remain in Southmead Hospital unless or until her medical team advise otherwise.
"On doctors' advice, Her Royal Highness's engagements for the week ahead will be postponed.
"Her Royal Highness sends her apologies to any who may be inconvenienced or disappointed as a result."
