Wedding guest is warned that dress she picked looks like a ‘hospital gown’ – and the others risk a wardrobe malfunction

She sought the advice of the internet on styling for the ceremony — and they didn't mince words.

A Redditor who goes by the handle Probably_Outside posted pictures of several contending dresses to the social media platform.

"I am struggling horribly," she wrote. "We have a micro-wedding in three weeks in the Arizona desert and have gotten next to no communication about expectations or plans for the day.

"The bride told me to wear blue or green (for pictures) and not to wear heels because it’s about a 15-minute hike into the ceremony.

"Bride said she will be in cowboy boots. No idea where we are heading after ceremony or what we are doing."

Probably_Outside explained that she is not trying to stress out the already burdened bride, seeking the advice of the groom to no avail.

She added that event the weather forecast isn't helping as temperatures in the area of the desert wedding are "all over the place."

The wedding guest offered six different dress options, including a halter-style, plunging necklines, wrap dresses, and cut-outs.

Several Redditors chimed in via the comment section to give their two cents on the fashion finds.

"I can’t offer any helpful advice because I’ve never been to Arizona, but six is giving hospital gown. The rest are cute, though," Redditor Avocadotoast_91 wrote.

"Can’t unsee hospital gown now lol," Probably_Outside replied.

Others were concerned about potentially embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions with the other options.

"All of these are going to give you a wardrobe malfunction if it gets windy during the ceremony," another said.

"I like three through five. I also can't unsee six as a hospital gown, which Avocadotoast_91 hilariously pointed out," one more wrote.

"I think the neck on two, although cute, might be irritating after a while if you're hot and sweaty.

"If you're worried about wind with a shorter dress, you could just wear short, tight shorts underneath. I used to live in Arizona — always layer."
