Hong Kong police launch manhunt after suspected triad member battered by 3 masked men
Security personnel called police and emergency services personnel found the victim unconscious with injuries to his black, arms and legs.

The victim was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital in Lai Chi Kok and the source said he was being treated in the intensive care unit.
The victim’s girlfriend, 26, was uninjured.
The attack happened in the Yi Hong Street car park at the Riviera Gardens housing estate in Tsuen Wan in the New Territories at about 3.50am.

“Due to the ongoing treatment of the victim, further investigation into the motive of the attack cannot be conducted at this time,” the source said.
He added that officers were checking surveillance camera footage for evidence.
Detectives from the New Territories South anti-triad squad are investigating the case.
Police last year dealt with 2,334 reports of triad-related crimes across the city, an 8.6 per cent drop on the 2, 554 cases logged in 2022.
