EASTENDERS fans are convinced a beloved character has secretly returned after they spotted a Stacey Slater clue.
Last night's episode featuring Stacey Slater had viewers convinced that a long-lost Walford resident had mysteriously returned.
As Stacey's close friend Eve Unwin went missing following an encounter with Nish Panesar and Ravi Gulati, the police started door-to-door inquiries to gather information on her whereabouts.
Fans already know that Nish attacked Eve after finding out that she was having an affair with Suki Panesar.
He ordered his son Ravi to kill Eve and dispose of her body.
Ravi didn't actually do it, but he threatened her to leave Walford and never come back.

In Walford, her loved ones worry about her safety, while only Ravi knows the truth.
But as Stacey stressed about her friend's disappearance in the latest episode, something happened that had fans convinced Eve might have made a sneaky comeback.
Stacey freaked out when she suspected her stalker, Theo Hawthorne, had returned to Walford.
Her panic ensued when she discovered her front door wide open.
Detective Jack Branning approached her, and she was visibly panicked.
She frantically explained to him that everyone was out for the day, yet the door remained wide open.
Without suspecting her or anyone else, Jack swiftly entered the house and thoroughly searched the area, only to discover it completely empty.
Fans quickly speculated that Eve might be the one who left the door open, making a surprise return to Walford.
One wrote said: "EVE LEFT THE DOOR ON THE LATCH! who else would leave the door open unless they were in a rush and didn’t want to be seen? SHE’S COMING HOMEEEE."
