Camden Toy had a long career in the film and games industries.
Some of his roles outside of Buffy were in The Insider's Guide to Film School, The Bay and Average Joe.
He also had a voice role on Call of Duty: Vanguard.
Toy played several of the show's most iconic monsters, including Gnarl, the Ubervamp, and one of The Gentlemen in the Emmy-nominated episode Hush in 1999.
The actor was often in such heavy makeup that Buffy star Sarah Michelle Gellar reportedly said she had never seen his real face until the producers showed her a photo.
Toy appeared in five episodes of the 90s show's seventh and final season.
Camden Toy, who played several horrifying monsters in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has died age 68.
The actor's partner Bethany Henderson said Toy - who played some of the show's most iconic monsters - had been battling pancreatic cancer for the last two years.
His death was reported by friends on Facebook, who put together a Remembering Camden Toy page.
