Love Island’s Davide reveals he was approached for All Stars show just days after split with Ekin-Su

LOVE Island star Davide Sanclimenti has revealed he wanted to take part in All Stars – but it was too soon after his split from Ekin-Su.

The Italian hunk, 29, and CBB star Ekin shocked fans when they revealed they had split in January of this year, just days before the latest series of the show kicked off.

Speaking about the show, Davide admitted he had been considering it, saying: “I wanted to go in there but it was too fresh after Ekin.”

Chatting to Chloe Burrows on her podcast, Chloe vs The World, he added he would take part if they did another series and he was single.

Quizzed about if how single life is, he explained: “At the beginning I didn’t like. I like to have a person I love and loves me back.

“But now I feel like it was the right thing to do. Everything happens for a reason, my destiny is written.”

Davide and Ekin met on Love Island two years ago.

The pair had a rocky ride in the villa, but ended up winning the hearts of the nation and were crowned winners.

Their relationship went from strength to strength, but they decided to break up during the summer of last year.

However they got back together in August 2023, before calling time for good in January of this year.

Ekin meanwhile opened up about their break up during her appearance in Celeb Big Brother.

The star – who was evicted this week – told Louis Walsh: "I don’t go for looks anymore, it’s what I’ve done in the past and it’s got me nowhere."

During another discussion with Marisha, she said:  “I think my ex is my soulmate.”

"You thought your ex was your soul mate Ekin?" Marisha quizzed.

"Yeah I did. I imagined what our kids would look like, made the faces and everything," Ekin said sadly.
