She was leaving the desert rave with her boyfriend and friends when terrorists began shooting at their car, later taking her hostage, The Times of Israel reported.

“She said they were on their way home,” her mother said.

Amid that frantic phone call, Eden received a call from her dad.

When she returned to the line with her mother, she was shouting, “They’re shooting us, they’re really close!”

The 28-year-old's death was confirmed today as IDF troops retrieved her body from Gaza.

Israeli troops also recovered the body of 36-year-old IDF Warrant Officer Ziv Dado.

Dado, a logistics supervisor in the Golani Brigade’s 51st Battalion, was killed during the October 7 bloodbath.

He had until recently been declared a “fallen soldier held by a terror group," The Times of Israel reported.

In a statement, the IDF said: "The bodies of Eden Zakaria and CSM Ziv Dado, who were taken hostage by Hamas terrorists on Oct 7, have been recovered by our Special Forces.

" 27-year-old Eden was taken hostage from the Re’im music festival.

"36-year-old CSM Ziv served as a logistics supervisor in the Golani Brigade’s 51st Battalion.

"Locating the missing and bringing the hostages home is a national mission.

"We are working with all security agencies, intelligence and operational means to fulfill it."
