Kate Middleton’s silence made us feel lost – seeing her look radiant in new pic is a relief, says royal expert
AFTER weeks of speculation, the Princess of Wales was seen alongside her three children in a beautiful photograph dedicated to Mother’s Day.
The royal, who stepped back from official duties following her abdominal surgery in January, directly thanked the public for their continued support.
The social media post comes after weeks of conspiracy theories over her whereabouts and never ending rumours of her health swirling across the internet.
Royal biographer Angela Levin told The Sun exclusively how wonderful it is to see the Princess after so long and the importance of the Royal Family sharing an update with fans.
Angela said: “I was extremely excited this morning when I saw a photograph of the Princess looking absolutely radiant.
!It’s been a hard few weeks actually, I missed knowing what she was doing, and how she was feeling.

“And with lots of people you hope and hoped she would get better soon.”
The royal expert continued: “It was a huge worry not knowing what she had [wrong with her].
“It was not our business, she had every right to keep it private.
“But you long to know about them, they are almost part of your family - they are a side entrance to your family because you’ve known them since they were very small, or [Kate] since she first met William at university.
“So you can’t not take an interest.”
Angela added: “Unfortunately, it led to a lot of nonsense with people coming up with all sorts of ideas.
“Which must’ve been very hurtful and very difficult because it was made clear, by the aides of the palace she was not going to say anything or be ready for proper engagements until after easter.
“So we did know that but it seemed a long time.
“The problem is, perhaps she and William don’t know how important they are to us.
“We want them to be working royals and to do all the good work they are doing and it’s very difficult if you haven’t got those people particularly as the King has got cancer at the moment, so it made us feel lost. I certainly felt lost.
“And I hoped Meghan and Harry wouldn’t decide this was the time where they could show all their talents and sort of push them out the way.
“It was ‘what on earth was going to happen to the whole Royal Family?’”
Angela continued: “Seeing that beautiful woman who looks absolutely gorgeous, and has a wonderful manner and behaviour and manages to look after her three children and be always smiling and positive when she goes out - it’s been a real joy.
You look at them and you see beauty, you see kindness and you see goodness.

“I did notice, as others, that she wasn’t wearing her engagement or wedding ring. And that‘s caused a bit of concern.
“I imagine during her illness, she lost weight or she didn’t want to wear the jewels and she’s not yet put them back on again.
“William has been wonderful, we don’t need to think any further than that,” she remarked.
“He’s taken a beautiful photograph of all his children and his wife, roaring with laughter - she must’ve taught him as she is a very good photographer.
“He obviously has learned from her.
“He has been there looking after her and it has been her priority.
“I think it was just one of those things, that they [her rings] didn’t go back on her hands that day - I don’t think anybody has to worry about that.
“And she’s wearing tight jeans which is also quite brave [after her abdominal surgery], but she looks gorgeous.”
Angela went on to add: “The children actually, particularly Louis seems to have grown up - he looks very smart and is beaming.
“You look at them and you see beauty, you see kindness and you see goodness.
“You know she is a brilliant mother because children don’t pretend - they are close to her and curled up.

“So I think it’s a wonderful thing to see on Mother’s Day, very clever to put it out then because you want to see this beautiful mother, this hardworking mother.
“I look forward very much to seeing her again, perhaps she will have another family photo for Easter, and this time, perhaps William will be with them, so you’ve got all five of a very special family.”
