Millionaires’ playground Sandbanks struck by midnight racers as teenage girl, 17, critically injured in horror smash

A 17-YEAR-OLD girl has been left fighting for her life after a smash at a boy racer hotspot in millionaires' playground Sandbanks.

The teen is in a very serious condition in hospital following the late-night car crash in the exclusive Bournemouth neighbourhood.

She was the passenger in a black Mercedes which collided with a grey BMW on the Dorset peninsula.

Cops were called to Banks Road, whose well-heeled residents have included football manager Harry Redknapp, at 1.01am today.

The 17-year-old girl from Poole was taken to hospital with very serious injuries.

The driver of the Mercedes was also taken to hospital as a precaution, while the driver of the BMW appears to have escaped injury.
