Aldi shoppers race to fill their trolleys with new Sol de Janerio dupe that’s just £2.99 & ‘perfect for holidays’

ALDI shoppers are racing to fill their trolleys with a new Sol de Janerio dupe for only £2.99 and is perfect for holidays.

The three body sprays are beloved by fans with many sharing what they love about the product.

Tropical Essence by Lacura comes in three varieties: Cuban Dreams (Jasmine & Dragon Fruit), Havana Nights (Pistachio & Salted Caramel), or Tropical Glow (Amber Plum & Vanilla).

The perfumes are said to be dupes of the popular Sol de Janeiro perfumes.

Those dupes are far more expensive, with four versions available from Boots: Brazilian Crush 71 (£22), Brazilian Crush 62 (£19), Brazilian Crush 68 (£35), and Brazilian Crush 40 (£35).

The Facebook poster said: "Aldi dupes of the Sol di Janerio sprays £2.99 each! Ipswich Aldi."

Fans commented on the post saying they were heading to get them.

One said: "The pistachio and caramel one is so nice."

Another wrote: "more dupes! They’ve got these in my Aldi didn’t realise they were the dupes for sol though.. I might go get them."

While a third posted: "Tried all the dupes they are never the same."

One shopper took to TikTok recently in a now-viral to alert other shoppers to Boots’ bargain dupe of a Sol de Janeiro product.

“How does no one know about this?” she penned.

“Boots has a Sol de Janeiro dupe for £4.”

With the copycat scent, you get more than double the amount of product at 200ml. 

“It’s new!” one shopper beamed on TikTok.

Others said the dupe "smells the same" as the real deal and dubbed its finishing notes as "so sweet".

B&M shoppers are also racing to get their hands on a 250ml Sol de Janiero body cream dupe scanning at tills for just £3.99.

A Facebook user spread the word about the luxurious lotion saying it smells the "exact same" as the more pricey version.

The dupe is just a fraction of the price of Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream which is a steep £48 for a 240ml container.

The high-end cream is described as " a sumptuous body cream scented with notes of pistachio, salted caramel and vanilla."
