The One Show fans seriously distracted by Ant McPartlin’s outfit as they spot ‘hidden message’ in cardigan

VIEWERS of The One Show were left seriously distracted by Ant McPartlin as he made an appearance on the show alongside presenting pal Declan Donnelly.

The boys made a rare appearance on the BBC in order to promote the final series of Saturday Night Takeaway, due to kick off this weekend.

They were seen chatting to hosts Alex Jones and Roman Kemp as they attempted to drum up support for the ITV programme.

The 48 year old star's were bursting at the seams to chat all things SNT however fans were left mind-boggled by Ant's unique outfit choice.

Ant, who is believed to be expecting his first child with Anne-Marie Corbett, opted for a navy blue top and trousers as well as a pair of pristine white trainers.

But it was his vibrant multi-coloured cardigan that got everybody talking.

Remarking on the bold outfit choice, one person said on X - formerly Twitter: "I see Ant has pinched me nans cardigan #antanddec #TheOneShow."

Another then added:  "Ant's cardigan [laughing emojis]."

Some were even convinced that it contained a 'secret message'.

It left fans 'sure' that Ant had a commercial endorsement with fast food chain Burger King as they claimed it closely resembled the uniform of the global chain.

One viewer said: "Good to see Ant's Burger King partnership is alive and well #theoneshow."

As someone else echoed: "Sorry @antanddec but the cardigan is giving Burger King employee style #TheOneShow #bbc1."

Ant then spoke about his cardigan as he said to Alex: "Be honest. Is this cardie too much?"

Insisting it was great, she replied: "No, I love it!"

The boys will be back this weekend with it being confirmed that Girls Aloud star Cheryl will be making a very rare TV appearance on the programme.

She will be making her ITV return after almost ten years away from The X Factor judging panel.

The pop icon will appear alongside Holly Willoughby and Rylan Clark for a skit on the programme.

The series will feature a new piece called Get Out Of Me Ear: The Revenge, where A-listers who have been hidden camera victims of the pair over the years turn the tables on them.

Other names to appear will include Alison HammondDermot O'LearyAmanda HoldenOlly Murs and Oti Mabuse.
