Cops swarm Hainault station forcing it to close as they carry out urgent investigation
COPS have swarmed a Tube station following a "major incident" - forcing it to close.
Hainault Station, east London, has been locked down as officers carry out an urgent investigation nearby.
A police helicopter appears to have been deployed and is circling the area in Redbridge, near Essex.
It is not yet clear what has happened.
One witness told LBC: "There was loud shouting outside my road on Laing Close. Not sure what happened there."
Videos from the scene show heaps of police cars and vans parked up at the locked and bolted underground entrance.

Confused commuters stand around as they try to find another way of getting to work.
TFL are urging people to re-plan their journey and asking them to avoid the area.
A spokesperson for London's transport network said: "Hainault Station is closed due to a police investigation in the area."
