3 injured in major collision between Ferrari and taxi in Hong Kong
Three people were injured in a major collision between a Ferrari sports car and a taxi in Hong Kong at the weekend, with both vehicles badly damaged.
Police said on Sunday they received reports of the accident on Braemar Hill at 11.31pm on Saturday. The Ferrari driver and two passengers in the taxi were injured.
Two lanes of Yee King Road on Braemar Hill were temporarily closed due to the accident.
Police said the Ferrari driver suffered a nosebleed and sustained injuries on the right side of his forehead and left forearm. He and the taxi passengers were sent to Ruttonjee Hospital in Wan Chai.
Photos circulating on the internet showed the front of both vehicles had been smashed in the accident. The airbags of the red Ferrari had been triggered, while the bonnet and boot of the taxi were open.
A man was seen trying to pick up a detached tyre of the sports car from the opposite lane, and red debris was strewn across the road.
