    Manchester United Women have signed Dutch international Dominique Janssen from Wolfsburg.

    The 29-year-old defender has penned a contract until the end of the 2026/27 season - with the option to extend for a further year.

    Janssen previously played in the WSL with Arsenal where she won the league title, League Cup and FA Cup.

    Speaking to the Man Utd club website, Janssen said: "I’m delighted to be at such a big club like Manchester United.

    "Signing here is a really proud moment for me, and I cannot wait to now return to the English league and create new winning moments with this talented Manchester United team.”

    Matthijs de Ligt has agreed to join Manchester United from Bayern Munich.

    According to Fabrizio Romano, De Ligt has given the green light on the move after talks with his team.

    Personal terms are understood to not be an issue.

    Old Trafford is undergoing building work that has seen grotty old seats dumped in a skip.

    Sir Jim Ratcliffe has plans to develop the 114-year-old stadium with it being suggested a new ground could be built.

    Work has appeared to start at the historic venue as hundreds of seats have been stripped out.

    They have been dumped in a skip outside of The Stretford End of the stadium.

    It is believed that the work will relate to the redesigning of the player's tunnel in the ground.

  • Heaton signs extension

    Tom Heaton has penned a new one-year at Manchester United.

    The experienced shot-stopper has been on the books at Old Trafford since 2021 and acts as the club's third choice goalkeeper.

    Heaton, 38, is currently assisting the England national team in Germany for Euro 2024.

    Speaking on his new contract, as reported by Simon Peach, he said: "I still feel in great shape & I am ready to offer whatever the squad needs throughout the season ahead.

    "In addition to on the pitch, I’m learning so much off it for my next steps, whatever that may be"

  • Zirkzee meets Ten Hag

    Joshua Zirkzee has had a direct discussion with Erik ten Hag over a move to Man Utd, according to Sky Germany.

    The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to Old Trafford and has a release clause around £34m.

    It's claimed that Zirkzee's representatives have also had a personal meeting with Ten Hag.

    There's no decision on the Bologna striker's future just yet, with AC Milan also said to be in the race.

  • United start 'formal talks' over De Ligt

    Manchester United have now started formal talks with Bayern Munich over a deal to sign Matthijs de Ligt, according to Ben Jacobs.

    It's claimed that their attention is currently focused on the Dutch defender after finding Jarrad Branthwaite's asking price too high.

    Initial discussions are reportedly framed around a £34m move and De Ligt is said to be open to the switch.

    The 24-year-old is currently on international duty at Euro 2024 with the Netherlands squad.

    Manchester United's centre-back search continues as Erik ten Hag looks to strengthen his back line.

    And after reports of moves for both Matthijs de Ligt and Jarrad Branthwaite, a deal for the Bayern defender could be easier to get over the line.

    According to The Athletic, De Ligt's potential fee is likely to be "more realistic" than what Everton are asking for Branthwaite.

    It's also claimed that De Ligt is the "preferred option", however both deals are seen as independent of one and other.

    Rasmus Hojlund has said he is "very happy" working under Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.

    The Danish striker was quizzed about his club manager following his nation's exit from Euro 2024 at the hands of Germany.

    Manchester United have not ruled out the possibility of allowing Marcus Rashford to leave the club, according to the Manchester Evening News.

    Rashford is set to return to Carrington for pre-season training next week and could reportedly hold talks with new sporting director Dan Ashworth over his future.

    Doubt over Rashford's future is reportedly coming amid changes to his representation with his brother, Dwaine Maynard, discussing the potential of managing the England star.
