‘Overwhelmed’ Love Island All Stars hunk ‘struggling to cope with villa games – while secret feud is ready to explode’
LOVE Island is meant to be all about love - the clue is in the name!
But there are far more secret feuds brewing than anything else in the All Star series.
With an actual ex-couple in the villa, as well as many who’ve had off-screen flings, including Toby Aromolaran and Georgia Steel, the stars in this series have a lot of “previous”.
It also seems like there’s underlying tension between some of the Islanders who were in the same series as each other, like Arabella Chi and Anton Danyluk.
With Love Island: All Stars in full swing, body language expert Judi James reveals what she believes is to come for the rest of the series - but don’t expect romance…
'Overwhelmed and anxious'
Toby was originally in series seven of Love Island, and infamously jumped from girl to girl, before getting with Chloe Burrows, and coming runner-up with her.

But since the beginning of the All Star series, Toby has been getting cosy with Georgia, who he had previously got together with in Love Island Games last year - and she’s called him “super mature”.
However, Georgia seemed to be very wrong, with him almost immediately telling her he wanted them to both be open to getting to know others, after she chose him in the re-coupling.
And Judi believes he’s feeling very “overwhelmed” in the villa and too concerned with his 'brand', with the immature Toby still hiding underneath.
“Toby looks overwhelmed on this series, like his batteries need recharging,” says Judi. “When Georgia picked him for re-coupling she called him ‘super mature’ and even Toby did a facial wince at this completely dodgy assessment of his personality.
“He gave nothing back to Georgia in the way of eye contact. He did put an arm round her but his accelerated blink rate suggested panic mode.”
Pointing out his attempts at wooing Molly Smith, Judi adds: “It was awkward flirting, suggesting this game is too complex for him and he’s worried about his brand survival in the villa.
“He was rubbing his lips as he sat with Molly but with his face turned away as though he was trying to stimulate some emotional feelings of sexual attraction for her.
“His behaviour is like a car that keeps stalling.
“He told her he was ‘intrigued’ by her but his facial expression and body just showed anxiety.”
'Secret feud'
And it seemingly got worse for Toby when his ex-fling Arabella walked in the villa as a bombshell.
Judi says: “Toby looked poleaxed when he saw her, but not in an Ex on the Beach way, more like a confused kid who is not sure where he is supposed to go in this plotline.
“He seems to be trying to play the game here but getting too confused to build his brand.
“He looked like he was crawling out of his skin when they hugged hello.
“Arabella tried to flirt with him later but he just looked bewildered. It's hard to imagine they were ever a ‘thing’.”
Arabella’s arrival also caused a bit of tension for Anton, who was in series five together with her originally - signifying a secret row that viewers haven’t seen.
Judi says: “Anton’s facial expression as he told her ’no one’s coupled up properly’ looked like one of anger or disgust.
“His jaw slackened and the back of his tongue showed between his teeth.
“The producers clipped and used this face so it might be meaningful but it was the opposite of any signal of flirt or attraction during a moment when he should have been impressing her in a bid to be selected.”
'A war waiting to happen'
When it comes to the real exes, Molly and Callum Jones, who have both chosen each other in the recouplings, Judi believes they are “a war waiting to happen”.
She adds: “They clearly still have strong feelings for each other but that will mean more tears, possibly from both of them.
"They look set to game-play in what could be a destructive way.
“When she picked him for the re-coupling he stood with his hands held in a downward steeple in front of his crotch.
"This is a self-protective gesture but also implies a desire to regain power in a relationship.
“The gesture became a hand wring too, which showed anxiety about their relationship.”
Ignoring all the obvious signs
Liberty Poole has been getting very close to ‘Messy’ Mitch Taylor - although she discovered he’d called Demi Jones his “number one” at the end of last night’s episode, so that may all be about to change.
And Judi is very worried about Liberty - especially as she seems to be ignoring even the most obvious signs Mitch isn’t into her as much as she’s into him.
“Poor Liberty shows she learnt nothing from her first stint on the show,” says Judi. “Picking someone nicknamed ‘Messy Mitch’ suggests she doesn’t even pick up on clues and hints when they’re written in bold on someone’s forehead.
“Saying ‘I’ve been hurt before’ does not make the new person less likely to hurt you too.
“She snuggled with Mitch, face-gazing at him and flirting, while he sat staring coldly ahead.
“When he told her he’d ‘put in the graft’ to show he was trustworthy, she was using instant purr signals but it was then that the countdown started for his disloyalty and, of course, she’s in tearful vengeance mode again now.”
Still some romance
Josh Ritchie and Georgia Harrison are another former on-off couple, who look like they’re very much back on in the villa, having been snogging and cuddling.
But Judi says it may be a lot more one-sided than Georgia might hope for, especially given Josh has been flirting with Molly too.
She says: “Josh looked so reluctant when Georgia picked him in the re-coupling.
“His lip biting looked like a self-attack and he touched his face in a cut-off ‘hide’ ritual. He walked over with his hands in his pockets, a signal of reluctance and a desire to hide, and when they sat together, he brought his hand up to hide his nasty-looking giggle while she rested her head on his shoulder in a romantic gesture.
“Yes, they fell into a comfort cuddle on the day bed but it was her on top, kissing him and it looked like an awkward ‘sexual’ kiss.
“Georgia is acting as though they’re a re-formed couple but Josh’s body language was purring when he chatted to Molly, who responded by fingering the wire of her mic in a strong sexual flirt signal.”
But it’s not all bad news for romance in the Love Island villa, as Judi says there’s one unlikely strong couple in the shape of Luis Morrison and Demi Jones.
“They are clearly the hottest couple in terms of sexual attraction,” she says. “Her flirt signals with him are off the scale.
“Lying on the day bed, she stabbed her index finger close to his crotch as she spoke and left her hand there afterwards.
“She also placed her leg over his legs at one point and his stroking of her arm was a reciprocal gesture that bordered on the romantic.

“Both their voices lower in tone when they speak, which is a sure sign of sexual attraction.”
But, she adds: “Strong and obvious attraction at this point could be dangerous though as it will make Luis vulnerable to be picked off by all the new bombshells, Arabella included.”
