I’m A Celebrity crew on ‘high alert’ as big name campmate looks ready to quit just hours into series
FEARS grew yesterday that Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn might quit I’m A Celebrity after a tough start.
The actress was said to have been “miserable” in camp following two savage entry trials — a skydive and a critter-filled ordeal called the Temple of Doom.
After struggling through both, Jamie Lynn, 32, isolated herself in camp on Saturday and even stayed in bed yesterday morning, a source told The Sun.
The ITV’s show’s crew have clocked the Zoey 101 star’s behaviour and are now worried she is a “flight risk”.
The source said: “The entry trials for I’m A Celebrity are notoriously tough and Jamie wasn’t the only one who struggled through the challenges.
“But away from the cameras and scenes that aired on TV, it’s her behaviour in camp that has become obvious to crew.

“She has kept herself somewhat separate, not really socialising — and stayed in bed.
“It looked like she is really missing her family and, of course, unlike the other celebs, who are all from the UK and mostly know — or know of — each other, Jamie Lynn didn’t have immediate connections like that.”
Campmates need to stay in the jungle for 72 hours to receive their full pay cheque — a rule that came to light after Gemma Collins’ exit from the show back in 2014.
The then-Towie star revealed she didn’t get her fee in full and ended up donating what she did get to charity.
At the time, her rep said: “I can confirm that the £4,800 fee was the full and final fee that Gemma received for her participation in last year’s I’m A Celebrity.”
Jamie Lynn — the younger sister of Baby One More Time singer Britney, 41 — has form for taking an early cut having quit the US version of SAS: Who Dares Wins two days in.
Leaving the show, called Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, earlier this year after just 48 hours, Jamie Lynn confided in Mel B, who also took part.
More recently, Jamie Lynn had a quick exit from Dancing With The Stars when she was voted out in week two.
During entry interviews for I’m A Celeb, Jamie Lynn — who has featured in recent Netflix hit Sweet Magnolias — hinted that the strikes by American actors’ union Sag-Aftra left her considering work she would not usually consider.
In last night’s amazing opening episode, viewers saw Jamie Lynn take part in a skydive alongside Hollyoaks’ star Nick Pickard and JLS man Marvin Humes.
There could be further woe ahead for Jamie Lynn too if she is presented with a water trial.
She revealed on Special Forces that she now struggles in water after having to dive into a pond to save her daughter from drowning.
Speaking before entering the Australian jungle, she added: “Everything you’ve just mentioned — snakes, rats, heights — I am scared of.
“I am absolutely frightened of all of these things.
“Everything I have seen I have been afraid of.
“Absolutely every one of these trials I am dreading.
“This is going to be terrifying.
“But this is an opportunity to be myself and do something really cool and have some awesome experiences in the meantime.”
