Lush unveils its festive range – and it’s great news for Snow Fairy fans with brand new beauty buys
IT may only be September - but we're all starting to think about the holidays.
Whether you're a fan of Halloween or Christmas, the shelves are stacked with ghoulish goodies and festive finds already.
Now Lush has got in on the action with the high street beauty brand launching a bumper collection of spooky treats for October and an amazing array of Crimbo delights for early pressie hunters.
And the team showed off all their new products in a seasonal showcase at Scotland's three-storey flagship store, on Glasgow's Buchanan Street this week.
It's brilliant news for Snow Fairy fans with more products celebrating the pink, sparkly stalwart than ever before.
According to Lush data, Glasgow City sold the second most amount of Christmas products for Christmas 2023.

And Scotland LOVES Snow Fairy - it's the second most popular region for sales with 14 per cent of all purchases made north of the border.
This year there are more than 20 sweet candy scented Snow Fairy products to indulge in from a two tone jelly shower gel, priced from £9, to a Snow Fairy Wand reusable bubble bar, which is £8.50.
A stand out for me at the showcase was the Snow Fairy shampoo, from £9. With softening marshmallow root and cleansing fresh strawberry juice for bright and beautiful locks. This is a pigmented shampoo so it can tint blonde, porous hair a subtle pink while the sparkles through it make dark hair shimmer.
And to add to the collection there are now FIVE variations of the iconic shower gel, including one with 13 times more glitter than the original.
A Lush insider said: "With spellbinding fragrances, colours and characters evoking the joy of the Christmas season, customers can explore Lush’s magical range and discover returning favourites, new arrivals and innovations from the experts in bathing."
There are some adorable bathbombs this year too with some highlights including the striped black and white humbug, the adorable Christmas cabybara and golden gingerbread shaped Catch Me If You Can bath bomb melt, all priced from £4.50.
Meanwhile, there's a cute range of shower jellies including the revamped, bright red Laughing Santa.
If scents are your thing, there's a new range of perfumes with some ideal for the season including Turmeric Latte.
This has tones of velvety vanilla and tonka - and is ideal to layer with another seasonal staple, Yog Nog body spray with aromas of clove and ylang ylang. It promises to have you smelling like a seasonal snack.
If these scents don't sound up your street worry not, the experts at Lush can give you a fragrance consultation to match you with your perfect smell.
I had my own consultation and came home with V - which reminded me of a parma violet but with a hint of herbiness.
And we even got a chance to make our own stunning, stocking filler sized star bathbombs upstairs in the Glasgow store's create your own section.
For those unready to deck the halls, there's plenty to celebrate all hallows' eve instead.
One of the beauty brand's team said: "It’s code orange at Lush! The fresh, handmade cosmetics company has announced its 2024 Halloween collection, full of lovable misfits from a fizzing Frankenstein to a dancing skeleton, to celebrate all things strange and unusual."
Highlights for me included the Beetlejuice range. If you're a fan of the original - or the new reboot - this one is for you.
I just had to pick up the BOB bath bomb, which is a dead ringer for the shrunken headed ghoul in the movie. It turns your bath purple and fills the room with scents of Sicilian lemon oil.
The Sandworm bathing set is also a hoot - with a matching striped bath bomb, body bubble bar and soap.
Also hitting the shelves for Halloween 2024 is a monster buy - a GIANT octopus shower jelly weighing in at a whopping two kilos. We got the chance to give this badboy a hold and it is a beautiful beast.

New in for this year too is a Mr Pumpkin fresh face mask which is made with pumpkin seed butter and leaves your skin feeling softer than a werewolf's behind. In fact there's a while range of pumpkin spiced products ideal for the cosy season.
Whatever your favourite season, there's something for you in Lush this year - it's an assault on all the senses in the best possible way.
