Nicola Thorp breaks down in tears on final TalkTV show before having her first baby
NICOLA Thorp broke down in tears on her final TalkTV show today ahead of having her first baby.
The 35-year-old got very emotional on air as she said goodbye to her co-star Jeremy Kyle on air.
Talk Today host Nicola couldn't contain her emotions as Sarah Hewson gave her some beautiful flowers and a sweet baby grow, before heading off on maternity leave.
Nicola has been presenting the show Monday to Thursday, between 6am and 9.30am, since the launch in October.
She said: "I do want to say a huge thank you to everybody in the team, who has been so supportive of an emotional, hungry, thirsty pregnant woman and you've been so helpful.
"You've really made me feel like having a baby does not affect your career and it shouldn't affect your prospects in this industry."

"I'm not very good as a man saying this, it is the most amazing thing in the goddamn world.
"It's as hard... but just live every moment because it's amazing."
Nicola will be replaced by Rosie Wright until she returns in 2024.
Nicola and fiancé Nikesh Patel announced the happy news back in September.
Nicola is best known for playing Nicola Rubinstein in Corrie from 2017 to 2019, and later entered the broadcasting industry.
Meanwhile Nikesh is an actor who has appeared in the likes of Indian Summers, Four Weddings and a Funeral and Starstruck.
