‘Where has the budget gone?’ rage Love Island fans as the slam ‘terrible’ final dates
LOVE Island fans raged, ‘Where has the budget gone?' as they slammed last night's ‘terrible’ final dates.
Yesterday's episode of the ITV2 show saw each couple sit down for a romantic dinner as the series draws to a close.
But, while previous Islanders have been sent off on yachts and to candle-lit mansions, this year's lot remained in the villa.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, someone fumed: "They’re forcing the islanders to plan their own final dates this year?! WHERE HAS THE BUDGET GONE?"
Another raged: "The final dates are in a villa? they spent their budget on joey essex cause what??? we use to have yachts, dinners with famous singers."
A third added: "final dates used to look like this yk, they really blew the budget with joey."

And a fourth wrote: "What happened to the fancy last dates, no budget this season."
One more concluded: "Budget this year has finished boy. None of them extravagant final dates. Just costcutter and the back garden."
Ayo was seen making the most of the situation, placing petals around the fire pit whilst presenting Jess with a rose as she said: “This is literally perfect.”
Matilda and Sean enjoyed dinner at the kitchen island whilst Joey whisked Jessy off to the snug.
Mimii and Josh headed to the mini fire pit, joined by a special guest in the form of the teddy bear they share, nicknamed Jomi.
Ciaran and Nicole had their date up on the terrace as she said: “This is the cutest thing ever, did you blow those balloons up yourself?”
As the evening unfolded, Joey had an important question for Jessy as he asked: “I’ve been thinking, why don’t we be exclusive?” to which she was overjoyed with.
It isn't the first time show fans have been disappointed this week, having previously slammed the talent show episode.
It was labelled the "cringiest ever" as fans slammed the lack of talent on offer after the Islanders revealed their 'secret skills'.
Performances included Matilda's toe-curling puppet show, Joey's freestyle rap, Ayo's flute tooting and Jessy's stilt walking.
Sean talked about sweets, Grace led a fitness class and Reuben performed a Singin' in the Rain routine.
Mimii's singing was the highlight of the show, but ultimately couldn't save the episode from a fan mauling.
One fan ranted: "This is the most cringiest talent show in love island history" while another said: "OMG this is awful!"
