‘Worst thing I’ve ever seen!’ fume 24 Hours in Police Custody viewers after ‘hideous’ CCTV of man running over victim
VIEWERS of 24 Hours in Police Custody were left horrified after CCTV footage of a man being run over was played on the show.
The programme gives a glimpse into the crimes Bedfordshire police face and how they track down the perpetrators.
A recent two-episode special shocked watchers with its graphic murders.
It followed the aftermath of a bar fight which ended in two fatalities.
Patrick Howard was at his local pub The Crown when his friend got into a punch up with Nicholas Papworth before he managed to separate them.
The pair headed off after the incident, but were pursued by Nicholas and Anthony Bennison in cars.

Another man who knew Patrick came out of his house to see what was going on and got dragged into the incident.
In horrifying scenes captured on CCTV Nicholas drove over Patrick, dragging him along the road.
Nicholas and Anthony also knifed Patrick and passerby Adam Fanelli to death.
Mason Jordan, who was involved in the original brawl at the boozer, was also stabbed but survived with serious injuries.
Viewers were left sickened by the crimes, taking to social media to share their thoughts.
One appalled fan wrote: "24 hours in police custody. I absolutely love this show but this one was horrific."
Another agreed: "24 hours in police custody is f**king off the scale like."
A third shared: "That was the worst CCTV footage I think I’ve ever watched."
A heartbroken watcher wrote: "Just madness. So many lives ruined & changed forever, for what?! This episode broke my heart.
"Cold, callous, evil. RIP Adam & Patrick, my heart goes out to their families & to Mason and his family. I’m so sorry that these animals took your loved ones away."
Someone congratulated the police force for their work on this case, saying: "Great policing. One of the most callous, hideous crimes I’ve seen. Rest in peace Adam and Pat."
One viewer was left in total disbelief of the events that unfolded, asking: "How and why would you run over someone laying lifeless on the floor? Then you literally ask who it was when shown it back? WTAF!?"
