Coronation Street cancelled tonight in ITV schedule shake-up – but there’s still good news for soap fans
ITV has cancelled Coronation Street tonight instead the Women's Euro 2025 Qualifier will be broadcast in its place.
But it's good news for soap fans as Emmerdale will still air as normal at 7pm.
In a schedule shake up, the football match will see England face Sweden in the UEFA Women's Euro 2025 qualifying competition.
The women's football competition determines the 15 teams joining the automatically qualified host Switzerland in the UEFA Women's Euro 2025 final tournament.
ITV aired an additional hour-long episode of Coronation Street on Tuesday night to make up for the disruption to their usual schedule.
This week in Weatherfield, Carla Connor made a shocking discovery as she finally found out about Jenny and Daisy stealing money from the factory Underworld.

ITV viewers know that serial killer Stephen Reid stole £250,000 from Underworld before he was murdered.
Meanwhile, Jenny was saying goodbye to the Rovers Return pub as she couldn't afford to keep it running.
Until she secured Carla's stolen money and was persuaded by Daisy to use it to buy back the pub.
Despite warnings from Jenny to keep a low profile, Daisy went on multiple shopping trips and flaunted her many shopping bags in front of everyone.
This caught Carla's eye as well as Jenny struggling to keep the secret in any longer.
Carla was left fuming over their theft and Jenny's confession and mentioned how they robbed from the Underworld workers too, who are unable to make ends meet because of them.
Jenny broke down and said: “I promise you we will pay you back every penny. I wasn’t in my right mind, Carla.”
Carla sacked Daisy and laid out her terms for Jenny as she takes over as the new boss the Rovers Return pub.
“Until you two pay me back every single penny, this place is mine,” she told them.
Meanwhile on Emmerdale, viewers were left shocked after Tom King made a major mistake as his abuse of wife Belle Dingle steps up a notch.
Tom has been slowly manipulating Belle to destroy her self-esteem and life and bring her under his control.
He faked a burglary in the cottage after Belle spent time with friends instead of him, he made a big mistake.
Pocketing the engagement ring as he heard Belle walk in, he let her think they had been stolen.
This wouldn’t have happened if I had’ve been home,” Belle said before realising her rings were missing.
Belle was shook up with Tom playing the supportive and calm husband.
Tom told her: “Nothing is going to happen while you’re with me.”
“Do you promise?” asked Belle, falling fo Tom’s manipulations hook line and sinker.
"Cross my heart and hope to die,” he said.
However as Tom pocketed the rings rather than getting rid of them, he could have made a huge mistake that could expose his fake burglary and open Belle’s eyes up to his creeping abuse.
