A man has been arrested following the death of a woman in East Lothian on New Year's Day.
Police were called to a property on Craigleith Avenue in North Berwick at about 8.20am on Monday following a "report of concern".
Emergency services attended and a 33-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland said a 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death.
A force spokesperson added: "Enquiries are continuing."
