I’m trolled for applying a full face of makeup WHILE I gave birth… people say I must be insecure but it kept me calm

A MUM has hit back at nasty trolls who said she must be 'insecure' for putting on a full face of glam while giving birth.

Harmony took to social media to show off her impressive make-up skills while she was in the middle of labour.

In the clip, Harmony can be seen bouncing on a pregnancy ball trying to control her breathing as she goes through contraction after contraction.

And despite the pain she must have been going through - she still managed to bake her face with setting powder in between each push.

Her partner could be seen standing behind the mum providing a comforting arm as she continued to get glammed up.

She revealed that it was the 'best distraction' she could have had from the pain.

"Imagine talking sh*t to a woman for wearing makeup during labour but it's how she got through it unmedicated," she added.

Despite revealing it was a way for her to stay distracted, trolls were quick to come out of the wood works and claim she was insecure.

One claimed: "This is another level of insecure if you need makeup during labour."

"Why would you wear makeup?" penned another.

She revealed she wasn't insecure and found the comments suggesting that she was 'rude.'

"A lot of you weren't raised right, and it shows," the mum said.

She continued: "Some people just wear makeup genuinely because they love the artistic aspect of makeup, which is me.

"I'm not wearing any makeup right now, and I feel great.

"I don't need makeup to feel beautiful."

The clip posted to her TikTok account @harmssssssss has since gone viral with over 6million views and over 630k likes.

Despite some trolls in the comments, many mums praised Harmony for doing what was best for her.

One person wrote: "Can’t do epidural cause you’d be weak, can’t do unmedicated cause then I’m better than everyone. Make it make sense people. Be kind or move on."

Another commented: "Doing my makeup during labour was exciting. I was getting ready for the biggest moment of my life."

"I applied makeup to my sister while she was in labour plus it made her more confident in taking pictures," penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: "makeup therapy/distraction is unmatched."

Someone else added: "Why is everyone hating make up is literally my saviour when I’m stressed, doing all the little steps helps."
