Dawn Taylor goes into early labour terrified of relapsing in Emmerdale

CHRISTMAS will arrive early for Dawn and Billy Fletcher as the pair excitedly prepare for the birth of their first child.

However, Emmerdale favourite Dawn Taylor is worried she may relapse into her drug addiction when she goes into labour.

Home Farm residents were over the moon earlier this year when Dawn (played by Olivia Bromley) announced she was expecting a baby.

But since she broke her big news, Dawn's joy turned into fear when she was told she may need to turn to pain medication as she realised this could be a trigger for a relapse into her drug addiction.

The wife of Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) has worked hard over the years to tame her demons for her own benefit as well as for her family which include her son Lucas and his half-sister Clemmie Reed.

Will her efforts be enough?

ITV viewers may get the answer soon as Dawn's contractions begin during the village Christmas fair, organised by Nicola King and Claudette Anderson.

How will Dawn cope with the pain of labour while depriving herself of pain medication?

Can she keep her addiction under control?

More importantly, will she manage to have the home birth of her dreams?

Once again, viewers of the Yorkshire-based program will have to wait and see for themselves but there could be more trouble coming to Home Farm which may involve the police.

Unbeknownst to anybody in the Dales, with the exception of Cain Dingle and perhaps his brother Caleb Milligan, Kim Tate (Claire King) was involved in Craig Reed's death.

In upcoming scenes, the ice queen begins to melt as the pressure of keeping this hefty of a secret take a toll on her.

She first confirms she played a part in the crime to her husband Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) who is stunned by her admission.
