They may not be sexy, but her confidence more than makes up for that, she said.

She is certainly bucking a trend for micro-thongs or, at the other end of the spectrum, shapewear that squeezes you to an inch of your life.

Miranda's (@Mirandaeffinfox) casual indifferent to what others think is refreshing.

She is a mom to a little boy and has 37,000 followers on her TikTok.

In this post, she shared her bottom line and she was under no illusions.

“Look I know on first glance these pants aren’t sexy," she admitted.

She lifted a loose T-shirt to reveal her granny pants.

They were as far removed from a thong as it was possible to be.

But she seemed very happy and comfortable in them, regardless of what trends dictated.

Anyway, she figured as long as you were confident you could wear just about anything.

“Okay, I wouldn’t say like, ‘Oh wow, these pants are so sexy,'" she said.

“But I would argue that confidence is sexy.”

Miranda then added: “Confidence is key girlies when wearing granny pants. Own it. Love it.”

Commenters were behind her all the way.

“Main goal, be comfy," said one person. While another said: “You are so right.”

“Bridget would be so proud," said this person in a reference to the film, where the main character wore granny pants.
