Bruno Fernandes ‘offered Man Utd escape route by Champions League giants’ in move that could wreck new manager plans
BAYERN MUNICH are interested in signing Bruno Fernandes from Manchester United, according to reports.
SunSport exclusively revealed this week that Fernandes, 29, is ready to make the upcoming FA Cup final his Red Devils swansong.
The Man Utd captain is considering a summer exit after four-and-a-half years at Old Trafford.
According to the Independent, Bayern Munich are ready to offer the Portuguese star a fresh challenge.
Fernandes stunned United chiefs earlier this month by hinting that his future could lie away from Manchester.
But club bosses could be tempted into selling, as they aim to reshape their squad while complying with Premier League PSR rules.

Signing Fernandes may pave the way for Thomas Tuchel to perform a stunning U-turn to stay at Bayern.
It was announced earlier this year that Tuchel, who has not won a trophy with the Bundesliga giants this season, would be leaving Bayern.
But following an embarrassing manager hunt that has seem them fail to land Julian Nagelsmann, Ralf Rangnick and Oliver Glasner - Tuchel could yet stay on as boss.
The former Chelsea boss, 50, wanted Bayern to sign another creative midfield player.

And landing Fernandes could give Tuchel the option that he has so craved this term.
Man Utd themselves have been linked with the German manager as they weigh up sacking Erik ten Hag.
He has been listed among a number of contenders including Gareth Southgate, Graham Potter and Thomas Frank.
But a Bayern U-turn would close the door on the possibility of United landing Tuchel.
Fernandes joined Man Utd from Sporting Lisbon for £55million in January 2020.
He has gone on to play 230 times for the Red Devils, scoring 79 goals and laying on 64 assists.
The attacking midfielder has won one trophy with United, last season's Carabao Cup.
Fernandes was appointed captain last summer after Harry Maguire was stripped of the armband.
In addition to Bayern, the United skipper will likely have suitors in Saudi Arabia.
