She shared the products she used to reverse her hair loss via a video posted to her TikTok channel @sofiahairhealth.

The TikToker often uses the account to share hair care tips and tricks.

One of the things that Sofia said helped her female pattern hair loss was taking zinc supplements.

Zinc has been proven to support hair growth, strengthen hair follicles and increase hair thickness.

It is also super cheap, and you can buy 180 tablets for just £5 from Boots.

Sofia also said that taking oral minoxidil helped to grow her hair back.

Minoxidil is an over the counter medication that helps to stimulate hair growth.

It can be purchased online for around £20.

Another tip recommended by Sofia is platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections.

PRP injections involve a clinician taking a blood sample from a patient and then placing the sample into a centrifuge to create platelet rich plasma.

The platelet rich plasma is then injected back into the target area (in this case the hair).

Platelet rich plasma can stimulate cell reproduction and tissue regeneration, so can help with hair regrowth.

However, PRP is a pretty expensive treatment, and it costs hundreds of pounds for one session with a dermatologist.

Sofia's final tip is seeing a therapist for stress.

If you are under a lot of stress, this can lead to hair loss as stress pushes hair follicles into the resting phase, meaning they stop growing.

This in turn will cause the hair to start falling out.

Sofia's locks now look thick and healthy, after months of using the above treatments.

Hair loss in women can occur for many reasons, such as stress, after giving birth or genetics.
