I get perfect hair in five minutes using a kitchen staple, it looks scary but you need to trust the process
JUST reach inside your kitchen cupboard if you want perfect hair.
That's what one hair and beauty fan does, using a surprising product on her locks.
It's a kitchen staple she never goes anywhere without and she swears by it.
She said it will give you a gorgeously-styled coiffure in just five minutes.
Victoria Jimenez (@victorriaa0) admits it looks scary but she urges you to stick with it.
Just "trust the process," she said, and then you will see the results.
“I’m going to show you guys how I get my hair to look perfect every single time I travel," she said in her post.
First, she prepared her curls overnight. She did this by putting some leave-in conditioner in her hair, brushing it, and then wrapping it around a one-inch silk rod.
Once this were unfurled, she was ready for the most important of her hair regime.
"But here is the main thing I use and that I can never go anywhere without," she explained, holding a non-descript plastic bag containing a white substance.
“Cornstarch. Nothing is more powerful than cornstarch," she figured.
Next, she grabbed a brush, dipped it in, and was generous in the volume gathered.
“So I‘m just going to take a lot of powders," she said.
Victoria understood it was a daunting beauty process.
“I know it looks scary because it’s white but trust the process."
She applied it all over her hair, concentrating on some areas more than most.
“Putting it in all the areas that my hair might get oily," she said.
But this white powder showed up a lot on her dark hair.
Just when her hair coloring was beginning to look like Morticia's, she was ready for the next stage.
“The important part is blending it into your hair. Continue to rub," she explained.
"Be gentle, don’t use your nails but use your fingertips and just blend that in until you don’t see anything."
She has become well-practiced in this beauty routine.
“I have really dark hair and it is starting to go away. [As you blend in] you won’t be able to see the cornstarch."
The end result was a delighted Victoria: “My hair looks brand new and fresh."

One commenter had a concern, however: "Does it make the top look powdery?"
"Not if you blend in well," Victoria reassured.
