ONE of the UK's largest Premier Inns has been given the go-ahead to open.
The new 276-room hotel will open at Manchester Airport, a short walk from the terminals.
It will be part of the Mix Manchester hotel district, which is also two minutes walk from the Ground Transport Interchange which connects the airport by train, bus and coach.
The hotel itself will also have some of the Premier Plus rooms, as well as the communal The Social space on the ground floor.
A restaurant will also be on the ground floor, serving food from breakfast to dinner.
It will be the largest Premier Inn in the north of England when it opens.
