F1 car goes up in FLAMES after huge 110mph crash in Dutch GP Practice as camera crew forced to rush out the way

WILLIAMS driver Logan Sargeant suffered a horror crash during practice for the Dutch Grand Prix this morning.

The 23-year-old lost control after drifting onto the grass at turn four and collided with the barrier.

His car, which was travelling at around 110mph before it crashed, immediately burst into flames.

But Sargeant thankfully escaped the wreckage unharmed and walked away without any assistance.

Williams team principal James Vowles later confirmed that he was taken to the medical centre as a precaution.

The race was red-flagged for around 30 minutes as a result while stewards removed debris from the track and fixed the damaged barriers.

Although the fire was quickly extinguished, extensive damage to Sargeant's car means he may not be able to take part in qualifying.
