BBC Breakfast bombarded with complaints as ‘dreadful’ technical blunder throws show into chaos
BBC Breakfast was bombarded with complaints this morning from disappointed fans left ranting over a "dreadful" technical blunder.
The Beeb's morning offering was back as usual with still no sign of Jon Kay as the regular show host went 'missing' for the second day running.
On the programme, Ben Thompson filled in once again as he got to work with Sally Nugent bringing Britain up to date with the day's headlines.
Viewers watching along at home were left irritated however as the show appeared to suffer from some technical issues.
Shortly before 8am, the show crossed over to Kilkenny in Ireland where they spoke to a father and son duo about the young boy, Stevie, and his impressing singing ability.
Stevie had wowed audiences after he performed the Irish rugby anthem during the Six Nations match between Ireland and Italy.

BBC Breakfast had invited the eight year old and his father to chat about the life-changing moment live on air but the remote interview conducted over webcam appeared to suffer a few blunders.
The sound appeared to drop out frequently as it made it difficult to tell what the guests were saying.
At one point, Sally was forced to lunge forward in an attempt to get a clearer listen of what Stevie had to say as her face looked puzzled as she failed to make it out.
As Stevie appeared to recite a speech about being 'able to deliver', Sally appeared unable to respond after failing to catch what he had said.
Hitting out at the BBC, some viewers were left disappointed that they had suffered the technical blunder as they questioned what had gone wrong.
Writing on X - formerly Twitter - one viewer said: "Are your sound/technical team off today?
"Sound on some of your interviews is dreadful."
Before someone else echoed: "What is going on with the sound this morning?"
The blunder coincides with Jon Kay, 54, being missing in action again as he failed to appear on the BBC morning offering as normal.
Ben Thompson was once again on hand to lead the show with Sally having stepped in a number of times since the turn of the New Year.
The 43 year old led the programme alongside the brunette beauty with Carol Kirkwood holding the fort with the weather updates.
The BBC programme has fallen foul to a series of presenting shake-ups in recent weeks with The Sun revealing how roving reporter Ben Boulos is to be missing from the for a whole month after fans were left concerned after he failed to appear on the show as usual.
