AN expert has revealed a two-button trick to defog windscreens in seconds but it took him ten years of driving to work it out.
A TikTok presenter has revealed how using two buttons which are on the central console of all cars will remove fog from windscreens quickly and safely.
The presenter at @know_about_cars said: "When driving in winter its very easy to fog up the windshield and affect driving vision.
"Many older drivers will put a rag in the car when you can't see clearly and wipe it with a rag. In fact not only is it not effective it also effect driving safety."
He then explained how the solution to the problem was very simple. He said: "We all have one in the car. The windshield automatic defogging function. Then the windshield will no longer fog up.
"We only need to be on the centre console to find this outer loop. Open it and at same time open fan shaped logo and then adjust to a moderate position.

"In this way the fog on the windshield will disappear in no time. And there will be never be fog again."

A driving instructor recently took to YouTube to explain how you can clear your view in moments from the comfort of the driver's seat.
The expert, from Australia, explained how you can use a number of buttons on your dashboard to beat condensation.
The instructor said: "It's best to put the air conditioning on because air conditioning acts like a booster.
"It's going to do the job a lot quicker.
"You can crank it up to two or three and it's going to clear it within literally 10, 15, 20 seconds."
