Sydney Sweeney’s secret sexy body formula from ‘ass-killing’ workouts to hot dog parties & the one drink she swears by

SHE'S the toast of Hollywood, working 18 hour days, seven days a week and surviving on just two hours sleep to achieve phenomenal success - so there's no denying Sydney Sweeney works hard.

And it seems Sydney, 26, who has starred in a slew of high profile projects, including a lead role in White Lotus, Euphoria and Madame Web, is equally committed in all other aspects of her life too.

The actor - who is often regarded one of the sexiest women in the world - persuaded her parents to relocate to LA when she was just 14 by presenting them with a five-year business plan.

And she clearly isn't afraid of hard graft when it comes to staying in shape, either - following a very varied and impressive workout routine and a healthy diet.

"Strength is inner happiness with yourself and a love for yourself."

'It's killing my ass... I love it'

Explaining more about the one hardcore workout she swears by to maintain her famous figure, Sydney recently told WSJ. Magazine: "I like this place called SolidCore.

"It’s a full-body high-intensity workout but on a reformer, and it’s been killing my ass. I love it!"

David explains: "Essentially SolidCore is a full-body, high-intensity workout that is performed on a reformer machine, the same piece of equipment used in reformer pilates.

"Overall it combines elements of Pilates, strength training, and cardio.

"It's a challenging full-body workout, and low-impact, reducing stress on joints and can help with weight loss and body sculpting."

Fighting fit

Sydney started practicing mixed martial arts (MMA) when she was 14, however she's not always allowed to train when working, due to the higher injury risk.

Speaking about the first time she competed at the age of 18, she recalled: "It was a grappling competition against all guys a weight category above me, and I got first place.

"Those guys were probably saying, ‘Oh, we didn’t want to hurt her,’ but they were definitely trying. Everyone broke a sweat!"

David says: "This is a full-contact combat sport that combines various martial arts techniques, including striking, grappling, and ground fighting.

"It provides a full-body workout, develops physical and mental discipline, teaches self-defense skills and can increase confidence and self-esteem - however there is also a high risk of injury due to the full-contact nature of the sport."

Strong and sculpted

Sydney also attributes a love of water-sports for her toned, svelte shape, saying: "I grew up on the water, always running around in a bikini.

"If I wasn’t swimming in the lake or the ocean, I was skiing or attempting to surf.

"The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to [water] ski.

"I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favourite. You get tired really fast. I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid."

David says: "Swimming works for multiple muscle groups, and water skiing can build strength, especially in the core and upper body.

"Both help improve cardiovascular fitness and endurance too and can help with weight loss and overall fitness."

'I only drink water'

When it comes to hydration, Sydney only ever drinks water, and has cleverly teamed up with drinks brand Bai which describes itself as 'Wonder Water'.

She previously said: "I have never even tried coffee.

"I only drink water — for whatever reason, when I was like, 12, I decided I would only drink water and I just stuck with it. I love water, it’s my thing.'

David says: "Abstaining from coffee and consuming only water as a beverage choice can have various effects on the body.

"While coffee is a widely consumed beverage, some may choose to eliminate it from their diet for various reasons, such as reducing caffeine intake, addressing sensitivities, or personal preferences.

"Not drinking coffee also avoids potential side effects of caffeine, such as jitters, insomnia, anxiety and promotes proper hydration, which is essential for overall health and may help with weight management by avoiding caloric beverages."

Mac and cheese & hot dogs

That's not to say she doesn't allow herself the odd treat - in moderation.

She says: "Don't get me wrong — I eat sugar, so it balances out.

"I love Kraft mac and cheese and hot dogs – those were childhood staples.

"Sometimes I'll find myself making hot dogs and mac and cheese on a late night and watch a movie."

David says: "Consuming sugar in moderation can be part of a balanced diet and lifestyle.

"It's essential to strike a balance by limiting added sugars and opting for natural sources like fruits, honey, and maple syrup.

"Moderation is key, as sugary treats can be enjoyed occasionally without compromising overall dietary goals."
