My desk fan makes WFH bearable – and it’s been reduced from £45 to £22

I have tried out quite a few different fans as part of my reviewer role at The Sun, and the Honeywell QuietSet Desk Fan is definitely one of the best - it made it into my team's pick of the best home fans.
It's also one of the cheapest – even more so now as it’s currently less than half the usual price.
More fan recommendations
It has five speeds and on its lowest setting is pretty quiet. As you would expect, the higher speeds are noisier because they’re more powerful, but they also move more air around, so cooling you better and more quickly.
While I’m working I tend to use the lower settings, so the various bits of paper on my desk aren’t blown around.
On warm evenings, this portable fan is great for the living room, too – it has a handle on the back and is lightweight, so easy to carry.
The higher speeds combined with the oscillation function make for a welcome breeze, while I’m watching TV or reading.
There’s also a timer, which is handy for setting before you go to sleep so you don’t have to worry about the fan being on all night.
Light sleepers may find it too noisy on anything but the lowest setting, though.
The only drawback I can find with this fan is you can’t tilt the head to change the angle of the air.
However, for such a low price I think it’s a bit of a bargain regardless. Oh and there’s no remote control, but that’s not a problem for me.
As an extra to your living room fan, or as a desk fan, this one is pretty good!
