Mason Greenwood’s final Getafe match delayed by horror injury to keeper as ambulance forced to come on to pitch

MASON GREENWOOD'S final Getafe game was halted because of a horror injury.

The on-loan Manchester United star started Getafe's last LaLiga match of the season against Mallorca.

But the match was abruptly halted in the 73rd minute following an injury to Getafe goalkeeper David Soria.

Soria clashed with a Mallorca player outside the penalty box and went down injured.

Physios rushed onto the pitch to give him medical treatment, with a sheet held over the stricken keeper.

The match was delayed for 11 minutes as an ambulance drove onto the pitch.

Greenwood could be seen nervously watching on from a distance before Soria was able to slowly walk off the pitch after around 12 minutes of treatment.
