I was signed up for Love Island All Stars as a bombshell – then they GHOSTED me, says show legend
A LOVE Island fan-favourite has revealed he was snubbed by All Stars bosses - claiming they "ghosted" him.
The boxer hunk told how the U-Turn was "a bit odd" - leaving him stuck on home turf while the rest of the cast jetted to South Africa.
Idris Virgo, 30, first found fame on Love Island's fourth series in 2018.
Ahead of his first stint he claimed: "I'm looking for a soulmate, a partner in crime, a long term partner," yet, despite his good intentions, he only lasted a matter of days.
Clearly eager for a second stab at romance in the All Stars spin-off he confirmed on X he had been approached before discussions took a turn.
One fan posted on X: "Omg you got ghosted too," to which he confirmed: "Love Island did same thing the challenge done to me it’s a bit odd."

He then confirmed: "Yeah lol."
One fan then showed their disgust at how things played out and added: "That's not right," followed by sad face Emoji.
The sports ace will no doubt have been left gutted after previously telling MailOnline how it was "the best experience of my life."
He added: "I learned how to not get too heated when someone's stepping on my toes.
"It changed my career and I've got to give props to the show. It taught me that it doesn't matter who you are - be silly and be confident in what you're doing.
"You're the only person who can judge you. It gave me a big confidence boost."
Similar snub
Previously, former show star AJ Bunker revealed she too was snubbed by TV bosses.
AJ, 31, who first appeared on the ITV2 dating show in 2021, exclusively told us she was overlooked - despite discussions already having taken place.
She explained to us: "When they started the audition process and were looking for people, they did reach out to me.
"And then there was just that process of, 'You'll hear back,' but I think just because there were so many people that were interested in going back in, I got the e-mail being like, 'Oh, there's just too many people interested.'
"But, to be honest, it actually worked perfectly because I was co-main event for my fight and the time people were going in was the time when my fight was happening."
Meanwhile, dancer Danica Taylor has revealed she was flown all the way to South Africa to be an "unused" bombshell.

"Bitter" Theo then went on the attack, revealing he was downgraded as a bombshell.
Hitting out online, Theo said: "Imagine wasting five days of your life after being persuaded to start Love Island, filming and the rest, for them to say a day before you’re suppose to fly out, nah come in 2 weeks.. huh? no thanks."
