Emmerdale fans beg ‘stay away’ after ‘unlikeable’ villager leaves the Dales
EMMERDALE fans have bid an ‘exhausting & insufferable’ character goodbye and pleaded for them to 'stay away' from the village.
Friday night’s instalment of the ITV soap saw the villager exit the show, but some fans are in no rush for them to come back.
Emmerdale viewers bid farewell to Lydia Dingle, played by Karen Blick, on Friday after Kim Tate (Claire King) confessed that she witnessed her horse kill Lydia's rapist, Craig Reed.
Following her emotional goodbye, fans took to X(Twitter) and expressed their thoughts about the episode, with many demanding that Lydia leave the Dales for good.
One fan wrote: "They’ve really made Lydia unlikable. #Emmerdale.”
Another added: "Lydia is exhausting & insufferable #boreoff #Emmerdale."

A third echoed: "Ok, bye then, Lyds, safe travels......take your time need to hurry back #emmerdale."
A fourth pleaded: "#Emmerdale, I’ll pack your bags, Lydia! Stay away for good”, while another user asked: "She won’t be coming back, will she??? #Emmerdale."
During the scenes, Lydia said goodbye to husband Sam, played by James Hooton and Samson, after struggling to get over Kim's involvement in her rapist's death.
However, Kim wasn't the only one to witness Craig's death, as Cain Dingle, played by Jeff Hordley, also saw the entire incident unfold.
With many things heavy on her heart, the cleaner announced that she would be heading to her mum's for a few weeks, meaning she would miss Christmas with the Dingles.
Following Kim's confession, Lydia was furious, banished her from the house, and refused to go to work.
As the Friday night episode ended, Kim confronted and threatened Cain over what happened to Craig.
The Home Farm owner warned Cain: "You should be careful, you have seen what my horses are like when anyone upsets me," Kim told Cain.
Cain argued: "This isn't funny.”
Kim replied, "Lydia is my friend. I couldn't stand back, watching her torment herself.
"But I meant it when I said this is done."
As Cain went to walk away, Kim said: "I hope you haven't forgotten that you still owe me for this, or I might just remember seeing someone on my land after all."
The mechanic replied: "It's a bit late for that.
