‘If only we all read owner’s manual,’ drivers laugh after finding keyfob feature to open windows without being in car

A YOUTUBER has found a hidden figure on a Ford truck that could help you on your next grocery run.

The feature will be on a 2015 to 2022 Ford truck whether it be an F-150, F-250, F-30 or so on.

"Picture you're grocery shopping with your girlfriend, the wife on a hot day," YouTuber Zac Lacarz (@zaclucarz) said as he created a scenario in his video.

He also suggested that you could be loading your boat on the trailer after a long day.

"Your truck has been sitting here cooking in the sun and you want to let some of that hot air escape.

"Well you could do that without getting inside your truck," he continued.

The motors expert then explained that you can use your key fob to open your truck windows.

"Take your key fob and double click on the unlock button and on the second click, hold down until the windows roll down," he explained.

Both of the front windows will go down with the hack allowing hot air to escape on a summer day.

He went on to explain many more features including two ways to drop the tailgate, a way to get your truck started if your key fob is dead, and a hidden sport mode.

The U.S. Sun has previously reported on a TikToker who shared 10 hidden car features.

The first feature he showed was about auto-rolling windows.

"Press and hold the window button to roll down for five seconds," Che Quan Laosi (@chequanlaosi) said in his video.

"Now the one-key lifting and lowering function of the window glass is set. If you want to raise or lower the car window in the future, you don't need to keep pressing it - just press it once."

He also revealed how to automatically lock your car doors while driving.

"Press and hold the lock button for five seconds, and then the button lock function is now set," said Laosi.

"When the vehicle speed exceeds 10 mph, the car doors will automatically lock."

Laosi explained that these features should be available on modern cars.
