SHOPPERS are racing to get to Home Bargains, eager to nab a £5 buy that will light up your garden in seconds.

So if your garden is looking a bit dull, and you want to bring it to life without on a budget, you’ll need to pay attention.

One bargain hunter was left stunned when browsing the shelves in her local Home Bargains, in Sittingbourne, Kent, when she found cheap buys for just £5 each.

Thrilled with her finds, Torrain Treslove took to social media to alert other shoppers.

Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with a staggering 2.4 million members, the gardening lover and savvy shopper shared a snap of her buys and penned: “Got these solar panels today from Home Bargains [for] £5 each.”

Torrain was lucky enough to get her hands on two of the Firefly metal wall art solar lights, which are 37cm high by 19cm wide.

The solar lights are a harmonious fusion of aesthetic elegance and eco-friendly functionality and will instantly brighten and elevate your space.

The gardening fan later explained: “I must admit there weren't many there. [They were] round by the gardening section.”

Not only this, but Torrain also explained that she used screws to hang the solar lights to her garden wall.

Torrain’s post was shared just two days ago, but it has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 1,200 likes and 344 comments.

Social media users were stunned at the cheap buys and many took to the comments to express this.

One person said: I got one for Mother's Day. So pretty.”

Another added: “They look lovely.” 

A third commented: “I think I might need!” 

At the same time, one Home Bargains fan claimed: “I ended up going to Home Bargains, buying six of these and spending £135 in total thanks to this post.”

A second alerted a Facebook user and shared: “Trip needed.”

Whilst a gardening fan asked another: “Keep your eyes out please.”
