Mollie King 'struggling' as she takes on mammoth cycle challenge

Mollie King has said she is struggling as she passes the halfway mark of her epic cycling journey.

The singer has cycled over 250km in less than three days and still has a long way to go yet.

Speaking to Radio 1 this morning she said: "It's tough, it's really tough. I'm drained I feel like I haven't had any kind of recovery since getting off the bike.

"My muscles are just like, 'oh we're doing this again?' It's pretty brutal. I think at the start there was so much excitement and adrenalin that kept me going and now I'm drained. It feels like every push of that peddle feels like more of a struggle."

Mollie King has officially passed the halfway mark on her epic cycling journey.

That means she's pedalled a staggering 250km in just two and a half days.

Along the way, she has raised over £180,000 for Comic Relief.
