‘Your home is stunning’ people praise as woman transforms council house into monochrome haven using B&Q & Amazon buys
A SAVVY woman has been flooded with praise after revealing how she transformed her dull council home into a monochrome haven.
Celene Francis, 25, previously told how she moved into the Sheffield property in 2020 and was left with no choice but to give it a modern makeover after it was left in a "dire condition."
In a recent clip posted to TikTok (@61thecouncilhouse), the proud DIY whizz has now shared her top "council house budget transformations" - which she achieved using bargain buys from the likes of Amazon and B&Q.
She begins by revealing how she gave the once boring white radiator a super stylish update for cheap.
In response to a social media user who was eager to know exactly what product she used, Celene revealed: "Rustins heat resistant in matte black, you can get it from Amazon!."
Next up, she takes social media on a tour of her kitchen, which has been upgraded with black floating shelves, which are both decorative and practical, before showing how she transformed the plain white hallway.

She explained how she simply used wooden panels which she snapped up from B&Q - and it's little surprise social media users were impressed, with one writing: "Looks great!"
While Celene says the door handles were a bargain buy from Screwfix, she proceeds to share a glimpse into her two-tone bedroom.
Complete with trendy white panelling behind the bed, one person was quick to ask what colour she used on the walls.
"The white is 'pure brilliant' white and then Dulux 'pale walnut," she explained.
Celene captioned the post: "Some of my favourite budget transformations, which one is your favourite? Comment down below."
It wasn't long before the post went viral, garnering a whopping 330k views and hundreds of comments from super impressed DIY fans up and down the country.
"Beautiful home," praised one.
A second penned: "Your home is just stunning."
A third enthused: "Beautiful job!"
Meanwhile, a fourth noted: "Looks lovely."
Another added: "Beautiful, love the rads, I've just done that myself, in the process of my hallway. Looks Great!"
And one more chimed in: "Wow looks lovely - well done!"
