The sneaky ways the Love Island villa will make sure the contestants have more sex than ever, according to interiors pro
The new series has only been back on our screens for two days but it's fair to say the return of Love Island has already got the nation gripped.
In just 48 hours we've already seen bombshell Joey Essex snog three girls in 30 seconds and Jess and Ronnie christen the balcony with a kiss.
And, according to interior designer Hannah Prescott, from Diamond Interiors, there's no signs of the sizzling action looking to slow down any time soon.
Speaking exclusively to Fabulous Digital, she's revealed the clever tricks Love Island designers have used to influence contestants in this year's show with a new revamp to the entire villa.
And there's set to be more sex than ever...
“It’s clear the interior designers at ITV know what it takes to create a space that evokes intimacy and passion between its hopeful contestants looking for connection," she explains.

“From the design and lighting, all the way to the colour scheme and furniture layout, every aspect of the interior design on Love Island has a clear goal to create intimacy, romance, and sensuality - and it translates well on-screen.”
Bedroom
Colour Scheme and Design Aesthetic
Hannah begins by noting that the bedroom seems to be a "lively and inviting space" that combines "comfort with bright colours."
"Bold, vibrant colours like pinks, oranges, and blues in the bedroom help maintain high energy levels within the villa, and the inviting and playful environment created by these elements is great for romance and intimacy," she explains.
“These colours are known for their psychological effects — pink evokes warmth and comfort, orange stimulates enthusiasm and excitement, and blue promotes calm and relaxation."
She goes on to say that together, they help to create a balanced environment that's both visually stimulating and emotionally inviting - adding that this sets the "perfect stage for romantic connections."
Hideaway
Furniture and Layout
According to the interior design whizz, the Hideaway is "thoughtfully designed" to "encourage privacy within a community setting."
In particular, she points out that its layout includes partitions and soft barriers which help to create cosy corners that promote private moments.
“This clever arrangement helps create deeper connections and subtly supports intimate and heartfelt interactions," she says.
"It’s a strategic use of space that encourages occupants to connect on a more sensual and romantic level."
Hannah goes on to say that the Hideaway’s furniture, which includes soft chairs and luxurious beds, is selected for both comfort and style.
"The arrangement of these pieces ensures privacy and encourages guests to relax and engage more deeply with one another," she explains.
"The design creates an inviting atmosphere that makes it easy for romantic moments to unfold naturally."
Colour Psychology
The interior design expert also points out that the colour red is the dominant colour in the Hideaway and is often linked with "passion, desire, and love."
She adds: "It's a stimulating colour that can raise energy levels.
"This intentional choice aims to create strong emotions and a sense of passion."
Hannah goes on to say how the gold accents provide a luxurious feel to the environment, lending a glamorous touch to the space.
"This elevates the overall aesthetic and makes the Islanders feel as though they are in a special, exclusive setting, adding to that romantic allure of the space," she continues.

"The colour palette is a key aspect of creating a setting that psychologically and physically increases the amount of romantic encounters within the Hideaway."
Lighting
The interior design pro notes that the 'no invitation needed' neon sign is a modern and inviting touch with a purpose.
"It creates a focal point to draw people into the space, setting a bold and inviting tone," she explains.
"The additional soft ambient lighting touches also help to create a warm, welcoming space that naturally encourages closer interactions and private conversations."
Chill Out Room
Colour Scheme and Motifs
Hannah says that using a pink palette in the chill-out room creates a "visually cohesive and soothing environment."
She explains that pink is often associated with "nurturing and romantic feelings," making it an ideal choice for intimacy.
“The circular motifs add a modern, futuristic touch that stimulates visual interest and appeal," the interior guru continues.
"This playful yet serene setting is designed to put the Islanders at ease, promoting more open and intimate exchanges."
