King Charles & Queen Camilla rushed out of event over ‘security concern’ & ushered back to hotel
THE King and Queen were ushered out of a public engagement amid a security concern in Jersey.
The royal couple were viewing local produce including cows and honey at the outdoor Expo event this afternoon.
But the event was cut short and both were taken a short journey into a nearby hotel.
Several minutes later they reemerged and continued with the tour for the presentation of the King’s Colour outside Pomme d’Or hotel on Libération Square in St Helier.
There was a small issue of concern and an investigation turned out to be a false alarm, it is understood.
Every precaution was taken and the programme resumed shortly afterwards, it is believed.
