But the MEN report that the England striker is "not thought to require surgery".

Rashford has netted 4 goals in 13 games since arriving at Villa Park in January.

  • Wharton swoop

Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton has been linked with a move to Manchester United.

The England star has enjoyed a fantastic season for the Eagles, helping them reach a first FA Cup final since 2016.

But according to Fabrizio Romano, there is currently "nothing serious" from United's end ahead of the summer window.

  • Scott's law

Scott McTominay has quickly become a Napoli fan favourite in Italy.

And the former Manchester United midfielder has broken a record previously held by Red Devils legend Denis Law.

  • Red mist

Bournemouth's Evanilson should not have received a red card in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Man Utd.

That's the opinion of former Prem ref Mark Halsey, who was baffled by events on the South Coast.

  • Boca raid

Manchester United are reportedly ready to rival Chelsea for Boca Juniors talent Milton Delgado.

Benfica and Inter Milan are also interested in the 19-year-old midfielder, who has earned rave reviews in Argentina.

El Crack Deportivo claim United have entered the race for Delgado's signature, but will have to fork out around £15million.

  • Amorim's title dream

Ruben Amorim has denied he is "crazy" for dreaming about winning a Premier League title with United.

Liverpool moved level with the Red Devils with 20 top-flight titles after beating Tottenham 5-1 on Sunday.

Amorim said: "We have an ultimate goal - that is winning the Premier League.

"Again, I am not crazy. I know that is not going to be next year, but we are trying to build something.

"The small things are really important, and we did that during this year.

"We need to improve next year. But I know that is important to the fans — we know that — but we need to be honest with them and to work hard every day."

  • Get Red-dy

Manchester United have a long history of youth development that includes a remarkable record that goes back 88 years… and counting.

They have included at least one youth academy player in every single senior matchday squad since 1937.

And there's three stars currently rising up the ranks in the Academy that you need to look out for...

  • Hojlund challenge

Ruben Amorim has demanded more goals from Rasmus Hojlund - after the Dane snatched a late draw at Bournemouth.

The £72million striker netted deep into injury time to level the scores at the Vitality Stadium.

It was just his second goal for the club since December.

Amorim said: "He now needs to score many more.

"I see the training, the way they behave, the way they want to improve.

"I see the games also and I try to put out the best 11 to win games. It was a good moment for him but it’s just a goal."

  • To the Viktors

Manchester United have reportedly won the race for Viktor Gyokeres.

  • McTominay breaks record

Fans flocked to the streets of Naples wearing kilts as Scott McTominay broke a 63-year record previously held by Denis Law.

McTominay and Law, both formerly of Manchester United, have been surprise Scottish hits in Italian football, more than 60 years apart.

McTominay, 28, scored his 10th and 11th goals of the Serie A campaign as Antonio Conte's side beat Torino 2-0.

Ironically, Law scored 10 goals from Torino back in the 1961-62 season, and his record has stood for over 60 years.

McTominay's goals were the spark for hoards of Napoli fans to storm the Neapolitan streets, with many dressed in classic Scottish kilts to hail their hero.

  • Joan Garcia on potential move

The Espanyol goalkeeper told Spanish outlet AS: "There was a lot of interest last summer, especially from Arsenal.

"But I stayed here and since then I've been 100% focused on this season.

"We all know mine & the club's situation & anything can happen. But the future will tell."

  • Cunha 'agrees' United move

Reports in Spain are claiming that Wolves star Matheus Cunha is close to joining Man Utd.

They say a verbal agreement between the player and the Red Devils has been finalised.

He supposedly has a £53m release clause, which will be activated by United in a few weeks.

  • Which club would suit Liam Delap best?

With just five Premier League games remaining this season, Ipswich Town are destined for the drop.

Should they lose to Newcastle on Saturday, the Tractor Boys will be relegated back to the Championship.

And that will almost guarantee the departure of sought-after forward Liam Delap amid interest from some of England’s top clubs.

But which club would be the best fit for him? SunSport has looked at what makes him so good and what he would bring to each team.

  • Prem manager to secret agent?

Andoni Iraola is turning secret agent to wreck Manchester United’s season.

The Bournemouth boss plans to phone Athletic Bilbao manager Ernesto Valverde, 61, and provide a spying report on Ruben Amorim’s team ahead of Thursday’s Europa League semi-final first leg.

  • Trust the process

United boss Ruben Amorim believes short-term pain will play out in favour of long-term success at Old Trafford.

Amorim explained: "In January we lost players and didn't bring in new ones. That was a risk.

"But there are things here that are more important than scoring 10 more goals this season.

"We are trying to do something that is more important. We can hurt the squad now but in the future it will help the club."

  • EXCLUSIVE: Hughes to stay at Carlisle

Mark Hughes is preparing to take another step down to help Carlisle back up into the Football League.

The Man Utd legend racked up 569 games as a Premier League boss after five years in charge of Wales.

Now he looks certain to remain in charge of the Cumbrians in next season’s National League after they were relegated with defeat at Cheltenham.

Hughes, who also spent 20 months as Bradford City chief, sees no problem in finding himself in the fifth tier of English football, declaring: “I have no ego.

“Just because I played for United and managed clubs like Manchester City, or led my country, doesn’t mean being in charge of a National League team would somehow be beneath me.

“Maybe other people might feel that but not me, even if I recognise it would be pretty unique for someone with some of the high spots I’ve had in my career.

“I showed how much I still love being a manager by going to Bradford — when you’ve been a manager as long as I have you just miss that buzz of standing on the touchline at three o’clock on  a Saturday afternoon.”

  • Halsey's verdict

Former Premier League referee Mark Halsey believes Evanilson should never have received a red card against Man Utd.

"The Bournemouth striker slipped when he challenged Moroccan international Noussair Mazraoui in the 70th minute of Sunday's 1-1 Premier League draw.

"Ref Peter Bankes gave a yellow card to the Brazilian — and that was the correct call, as Evanilson’s slip turned his tackle into a reckless one. It was not serious foul play.

"Why on earth did VAR John Brooks get involved?

"It’s a very poor decision — and Bournemouth can feel aggrieved because it changed the game and dented their European hopes.

"They would have a good case to appeal the dismissal — and the three-match ban — as the incident was similar to Bruno Fernandes’ foul against Spurs last September."

  • Hojlund must score 'many more' goals

Ruben Amorim has told Rasmus Hojlund he has to score “many more” goals for Manchester United ahead of their Europa League crunch.

United rescued a point at ten-man Bournemouth as Hojlund’s 96th-minute leveller cancelled out Antoine Semenyo’s 23rd-minute opener.

The striker had scored just twice since December and has nine goals all season, including four in the Premier League.

Asked how Hojlund has dealt with his barren run, Amorim said: “I will not say he is relaxed but he could be a little lighter during the week.

“He now needs to score many more.

“I see the training, the way they behave, the way they want to improve.

“I see the games also and I try to put out the best 11 to win games. It was a good moment for him but it’s just a goal. Let’s focus on Thursday.”

  • Key player out for the season

Diogo Dalot could miss the rest of Manchester United’s season after suffering a calf injury.

The wing-back was ruled out of Sunday's Premier League draw with Bournemouth and is a major doubt for both legs of the Europa League semi-final against Athletic Bilbao - the first leg is on Thursday in Spain.

In an injury-plagued season for United, Dalot has been one of their most reliable players fitness-wise.

The Portugal international, 26, has made more starts than any other United player and has featured in 51 of the club's 52 games in all competitions - plus seven more for his country.

But boss Ruben Amorim fears his compatriot’s heavy work load has finally caught up with him.

  • Onana on the move?

MANCHESTER UNITED goalkeeper Andre Onana is keen to leave Old Trafford for Saudi club Neom SC.

Onana, 29, has struggled in goal for United throughout the season following several clangers between the sticks.

According to Foot Mercato, the keeper has opened talks with the newly-promoted Saudi Pro League club.

The Cameroon international's representatives and Neom officials are discussing a potential summer move with the player's contract running until 2028.

The Saudi outfit's interest has been deemed "concrete" and Onana is interested in a potential move.

The former United defender believes Liverpool's European pedigree may give them the edge...
