Love Island shock as famous star who banked £1m from the show returns in twist that will leave fans reeling

WES Nelson is returning to Love Island – as this series’ musical star.

The former alumni will be performing alongside none other than Craig David, who previously left Anton Danyluk in tears when he appeared in the villa back in 2019.

Wes, 25, who was on the show in 2018, has just released a new single alongside the R&B legend, called Abracadabra.

He shared the news with fans earlier this month - sending everyone wild.

Speaking about the collaboration a very excited, Wes said: "Craig has been a big inspiration to me since I was a kid, so when the opportunity arose to jump into the studio together it was a no brainer!

“In the past, there have been some comparisons between the two of us as singers, we’re on a similar sort of wave and clearly it’s a collaboration that people wanted.

"We made the whole song start to finish in the studio – it felt really natural and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

When the Seven Days DJ performed for the Love Island villa in 2019, Anton was visibly overcome with emotion - sparking memes and a mass social media reaction.

In the Beach Hut he later admitted: "Wow, wow, wow. I almost just cried."

After leaving the villa, Anton and Craig later partied together in Ibiza - as the Scots hunk admitted he almost cried AGAIN after seeing him.

And his villa flame Belle Hassan was even claimed to have questioned Anton’s fascination with Craig David before they split - believing he was more interested in the singer than her.

During tonight's episode, Anton gets a text and reads: “Islanders, It’s time to get glam because tonight the villa will host a VIP performance from an International Superstar. #Rewind #FillMeIn”

Later that night, international superstar Craig makes his long awaited return to the Love Island Villa - and Wes make his surprise appearance, giving the islanders a performance that will go down in history.

Wes has become one of Love Island’s most successful ever stars, after left alongside Megan Barton Hanson.

After a stint on The X Factor: Celebrity, he signed with Universal Music and became a platinum-selling artist with his debut single See Nobody.

He has since gone on to surpass 1 billion global streams and was a millionaire at the age of 21 after investing in property.
