Hollyoaks star sparks fan fears he’s secretly QUIT soap after character suffers horrific health battle
WHEN a soap character suffers a car crash or a serious illness it is often because TV bosses have decided that their time is up.
TV fans know the drill only too well and now concerns have been raised for Hollyoaks actor Jonas Khan, whose character is set to endure a life-changing stroke.
Khan who plays Zain Rizwaan, will be left fighting for his life after suffering the serious stroke during a heated exchange with his wife, Misbach.
The Imam has been under considerable strain in his marriage after he overheard his wife talking with a friend and confessing to be unhappy in their union.
After this Rizwaan struggles to keep a level head and the stress takes its toll amid devastating consequences.
Now fans have noted that the actor who has been on the soap since early 2022, has since removed all reference to Hollyoaks on his Instagram profile

Instead he has simply just left the name of his exclusive acting agency Emtage Hallet, which could be a clear sign that he is moving on.
The actor joined Hollyoaks having appeared alongside Michelle Keegan in Our Girl, in the role of Captain Azizi. He has also appeared in BBC's EastEnders and Channel 4's Ackley Bridge.
Speaking at the time about joining the TV soap, he said:
"I’m very excited to be joining a progressive TV show such as Hollyoaks. A programme that always looks to push boundaries. Zain will look to bring some spirituality and guidance to the Maalik family and rest of the village."
Now it seems he could be moving on to pastures new.
