Meghan is jealous of Harry’s brotherly ‘love’ for Kate – after the prince always longed for a sister, says royal expert

MEGHAN Markle is “jealous” of Prince Harry’s brotherly “love" for Kate, a royal expert has claimed.

Ingrid Seward believes that the Duchess of Sussex is “incredibly envious” of the Princess of Wales - who is living out her dream of being “a princess in a castle”.

The two royal women have allegedly clashed multiple times throughout the years.

In Harry’s biography, he claimed Kate made Meghan cry, grimaced" when Meghan asked to borrow her lip gloss, and had a furious bust-up over comments about her hormones.

And now royal expert Seward believes she may have gotten to the bottom of the cause of these claims.

Speaking to The Telegraph she said: “Unfortunately, it points to Meghan doesn’t it? Maybe Harry was a little in love with Kate.”

“I don’t mean physically but mentally. Remember when it was just the three of them? He always longed for a sister, he told Diana that."

Ms Seward believes Meghan must have been "incredibly envious and then jealous of Kate".

She explained: "I heard Meghan actually thought she was going to be a princess and live in Windsor Castle. Instead, there’s William and Kate with this beautiful house, while they are stuck in Nottingham Cottage which Harry used to call ‘my hovel’.”

It comes as Kate is "recovering well" after her planned abdominal surgery on January 16.

Kate spent 13 days recovering at the private London Clinic before heading home - and she is unlikely to be seen carrying out any frontline duties until after Easter.

In a clear sign of her improvement, the Princess joined William and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis on a half-term trip holiday on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

A pal told the Daily Mail: "Catherine is recovering well.

"She was looking forward to a change of scene and will be able to take it easy in Norfolk while the children let off steam with William."

The King is also convalescing in Norfolk following his cancer diagnosis.

The monarch was admitted to The London Clinic on January 26 to undergo the operation and his stay was extended by 24 hours.

A "separate issue of concern was noted" during his corrective prostate surgery - and further tests revealed the presence of cancer.
