‘I weep for their future’ people cry as mum reveals she deliberately gave her kids crazily spelled names for fun

PICKING the perfect name for your little ones can be tough, on the one hand you want them to stand out, but this mum might've taken things a little too far.

She revealed she purposely spelled her kids' names 'differently' simply because she 'wanted to'.

Writing on Facebook, the mum said: "I will say, my girls have unique names! And yes I spelled the differently.

Why? Because I wanted to."

The mum then revealed she'd named her daughters, 'Braylynn Taydemm' and 'Breeleigh Tatelynn'.

People were quick to slam the mum for not going with the traditional spellings for their names, and her post was re-shared in a Facebook group dedicated to unique names.

The woman who shared the post confessed she wished she was making it up, and others agreed the names are pretty bad.

"I weep for the future of Taydemm and Taytelynn," one joked.

"The fact she's proud of it oh wow," a second commented.

Meanwhile, others weren't sure how to pronounce the names because of their unique spellings.

"Just realised Taydemm is supposed to be Tatum," someone wrote.

But another said: "I've been trying to work out how to say them for an hour now I have a headache."

"It's like she wants to make their lives more difficult," another added.

But not everyone though the names were that unique, and someone even noted that both names sound too similar to be unique.

"They aren’t really unique after the 7000000th woman has used them now," one said.

Another agreed: "This spelling trend is so common I'm bored of it."

This isn't the first time a mum has been rinsed online for her baby name choice.

A woman recently went viral for naming her tot after a famous F1 driver, only to discover it's also the name of a laxative.

She took Reddit and explained: "My husband and I have wanted to name our child Senna after Ayrton Senna the iconic F1 driver for years.

"We have always loved it, and dreamt about it."

But that all went out the window when other Reddit users broke the news to her and she was left feeling "devastated" but admitted she might not bother changing the name.

"I have had some friends say yeah maybe not; and others say who cares I had no idea and not everyone is a nurse or a doctor.

"Still I am not sure," she wrote.
