‘It’s like magic’ gush mums as they discover secret hack to get stains out of clothes – it’s free & works in seconds
A MUM has left other parents asking "where has this information been all my life?" after sharing her free hack to get stains out of clothes.
Emma O'Donnell, from Glasgow, has three boys under the age of nine and regularly shares posts on social media about parenthood.
In a recent TikTok video (@a_mothers_tale), the 35-year-old revealed how she gets fruit stains out of her sons clothing.
Emma, who is currently pregnant with her fourth tot, even said it's her "best mum hack ever".
And all you need is piping hot water out of the kettle.
The social media blogger admitted she had always been taught that hot water 'sets' stains but encouraged others to give it a go.
Showing how quickly it works in a short clip, she said: "Apparently boiling water on any fruit stain, it doesn’t matter what fruit stain it is, literally anything.
"It’s like magic."
Within seconds of pouring the water over a red food stain on a vest, the mark had completely disappeared.
"Oh my god. Stop it", exclaimed Emma.
"Can you see that?
She added: "I’ve got a nine-year-old, six-year-old, and a four-year-old and this is brand new info for me."
Emma's clip quickly racked up more than 133,000 views, with her fellow parents just as impressed.
One wrote: "Wow how do I not know this? My daughter's fave fruit is watermelon and strawberries."
A second asked: "Where has this information been all my life?!!"
A third said: "Am I seriously just finding this out after I've had four kids and thrown out sooo many clothes over the years?"
A fourth echoed: "What?! I’m sorry what?! No way!! 35 years on earth and never heard of this! That’s brilliant thank you for sharing."
Someone else insisted: "Trying this asap!"
And a sixth gushed: "This is life changing! Made my day."
