At least 23 U.S. citizens have been killed in the Israel-Gaza war since Oct. 7, the State Department said Monday. All but two had served in the Israel Defense Forces, and one had served in the Israeli National Police.
The Gaza Health Ministry said at least 25,295 people have been killed and 63,000 injured in the Strip since the war began. Israel estimates that about 1,200 people were killed in Hamas’s Oct. 7 attack.
